Edmund Tan is the Managing Director of Yew Seng Heng Construction. Edmund gained extensive experience in both hands-on and engineering business management with a sister company Yew Seng Heng Engineering. It is with this engineering and business expertise gained over 30 years in the industry that Edmund co-founded Yew Seng Heng Construction, with a focus on design and build construction projects.

He currently spearheads the company’s operations, driving customer-oriented service and strategic business direction. A firm believer in a customer-first strategy, Edmund invests in equipment and training for all staff to ensure they deliver quality service and skilled workmanship within the shortest possible time.

At the same time, he actively seeks out new avenues for business growth while upholding industry best practices and government regulations. Under his strong leadership, the company has obtained BizSafe Star, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

As the Managing Director of a sister company, Yew Seng Heng Engineering, he is heavily involved in business development and manpower projection. Here, he has implemented a robust strategy that encompasses investment in human resources, equipment and training for both staff and workers. He employs the same rigour and expertise to the management of Yew Seng Heng Construction.
